Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on vulnerability research or security testing in complex systems.
• Experience with frontier/open-weight models in offensive workflows.
• Assess AI-driven research processes, including false positives and reproducibility.
• Deep expertise in web apps/APIs, cloud/services, OS, or reverse engineering.
• Strong programming and debugging skills to read code and build tooling.
• Excellent intuition for attack surfaces, trust boundaries, and impact.
• Clear communication of findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI to research high-impact vulnerabilities across Zoom’s products, apps, services, and infrastructure.
• Use threat analysis and architecture knowledge to guide investigations.
• Apply frontier/open-weight models and agents across the research lifecycle: recon, analysis, exploit development, verification.
• Design research harnesses with proper context, tools, execution environments, and feedback.
• Develop custom tooling, including analysis utilities, fuzzers, agents, and exploits when needed.
• Convert model output into defensible security evidence, distinguishing weakness from proven exploit.
• Improve AI-driven research reliability by addressing false positives/negatives and nondeterminism.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Security to communicate findings and support remediation.
• Share tools, techniques, and lessons learned across Security Assurance.
