Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on vulnerability research or offensive security.
• Experience with frontier and open-weight models for offensive workflows.
• Ability to assess AI-driven research quality and reproducibility.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one security domain (web apps/APIs, cloud or service infrastructure, etc.).
• Strong programming and debugging skills; ability to read unfamiliar code.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability research across Zoom's products and infrastructure using AI.
• Choose targets via threat analysis and system knowledge.
• Apply AI models across reconnaissance, code analysis, hypothesis generation, exploits.
• Design research harnesses with proper context and feedback.
• Develop tooling like fuzzers, test harnesses, and exploits.
• Translate model output into defensible security evidence.
• Improve AI-driven research reliability by reducing false positives/negatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering to communicate findings and verify fixes.
• Share tools and lessons with the Security org.
