Job summary
Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to advance observability and resilience across our enterprise platforms. You will architect pattern-based monitoring, collaborate with engineering teams, and drive AI-enabled detection and automated responses to incidents.
You’ll work with CloudWatch, New Relic, SolarWinds, Splunk, PagerDuty and ServiceNow ITOM to build scalable, spec-driven operations. Strong coding, automation and collaboration are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years in a related field with focus on observability and resilience.
- Experience with enterprise ITOM and monitoring tools.
- Strong coding, automation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop AI-driven detection and automated responses.
Responsibilities
- Deliver capabilities using AI to develop observability patterns and automate adoption.
- Champion new tools and methods across the organization.
- Develop and own relationships with engineering teams.
- Ensure assets are fully observable and monitored.
- Build automated responses to reduce mean time to detect and resolve incidents.
