Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions for complex business challenges. You will join a cross-functional team working with product managers, security teams, and platform engineers to take ideas from concept to production.

The role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, end-to-end feature delivery, and applying AI-assisted development to boost productivity while maintaining quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• 7+ years designing, developing, deploying enterprise-grade software.
• Strong experience with Python, Vue.js, APIs and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on AWS and/or GCP, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience using AI-powered engineering tools throughout the lifecycle.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD, testing strategies, and security practices.
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Own end-to-end delivery across backend, data, APIs and UI.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity while ensuring quality and security.
• Embed DevSecOps, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to drive outcomes.
