Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver scalable cloud-native software for a remote role in the United States. You will own end-to-end features across backend services, data platforms, APIs, and user interfaces using Python, Vue.js, and modern cloud architectures.

You will work with product, security, and platform teams, leveraging AI-powered tools while ensuring secure, high-quality delivery and adherence to DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Strong experience building full-stack applications using modern technologies such as Python, Vue.js, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience using AI-powered engineering tools and workflows throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of secure software development, CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, cloud-native applications translating complex business requirements into robust solutions.
• Own end-to-end delivery of features across backend services, data platforms, APIs, and UIs.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining quality, security, and performance.
• Build reliable and secure solutions by embedding DevSecOps, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and monitoring.
• Partner with product, business, security, and platform teams to communicate decisions and drive outcomes.
