Job summary

Serko is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own end-to-end development of AI products for candidates in Washington or California. You will bridge frontend and backend, integrating LLMs and agentic frameworks to deliver interactive AI-powered experiences.

Bring strong TS (React/Next.js) and Python/SQL skills, design robust REST/GraphQL APIs, and contribute to scalable cloud deployments while maintaining high-quality tests and collaborative code reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience building full-stack AI-enabled applications.
• Proficient in React/Next.js frontend and Python/Node.js backend.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and AI features in production.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and databases like PostgreSQL/Redis.
• Familiarity with real-time streaming UX (SSE/WebSockets).
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful AI-powered user experiences in a cross-functional team.
• Develop full-stack features with frontend and backend coordination.
• Integrate LLM APIs and agentic frameworks into product features.
• Design and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs for data, sessions, and agents.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in code reviews.
• Support production systems with on-call rotations and documentation.
