Job summary

F5 is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to drive AI-powered enterprise applications and automation across GTM, RevOps, and platform engineering. You will prototype high-impact tools, then mature them into production, setting the technical patterns for the team.

As a hands-on senior contributor, you will rollout AI developer platforms, measure outcomes, and ensure security, privacy, and governance align with corporate standards. Expect a greenfield build with substantial impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years hands-on with AI/ML systems or enterprise automation.
• Expert Python: production-quality code, REST API design, async patterns, reusable framework design.
• Production agentic AI and RAG systems shipped and operated; familiarity with retrieval strategies and eval design.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and ship internal AI tools to raise team throughput (AI-assisted coding, automated code review, test generation, QA automation).
• Turn ideas into MVP quickly: scope, build, demo, test with real users, then decide to harden or kill.
• Roll out AI developer platforms (Claude Code, Gemini Enterprise, Copilot) with standards, prompts, guardrails, and adoption.
• Instrument outcomes: cycle time, review latency, defect escape rate, hours saved, as measurable outcomes.
• Design and deliver AI automation across GTM and RevOps copilots, support triage, quote-to-cash workflows.
• Build enterprise RAG over data with vector stores, hybrid search, and eval loops tied to KPIs.
