Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc in Seattle seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer for the F5 Digital – Customer Experience Organization. This hands-on senior contributor moves from business problem to working prototype fast, then hardens it into production, maturing AI and automation across SDLC.

You will design and ship AI-enabled internal tools, prototype MVPs in days, and establish patterns for enterprise AI across the SDLC while collaborating on security, privacy, and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with 3+ years AI/ML experience.
• Expert Python, production-grade code, REST API design, async patterns.
• Production agentic AI and RAG systems shipped and operated.
• Strong enterprise business systems background with Salesforce and Oracle stacks.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Workato, Boomi and other integration platforms.
• Cloud platforms, CI/CD, secrets management, and least-privilege access.

Responsibilities

• AI for the SDLC and internal productivity: prototype and ship AI tools.
• Enterprise applications and agentic systems design and delivery.
• Integrations & platform engineering: CI/CD for AI workloads and observability.
• Technical leadership: establish AI engineering standards and mentor teams.
