Job summary

JPMorganChase in the Corporate Sector (Trade Surveillance) seeks a Senior Lead Architect to shape target state architecture across product families. You drive governance, provide technical guidance to teams, and advance AI-enabled, secure engineering practices.

Responsibilities include evaluating technologies, influencing design, and delivering high-quality production code while upholding SDLC standards and data-sensitivity controls.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operations.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages and architectures across cloud, AI, mobile, etc.
• Experience applying AI capabilities in architecture with strong validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures with resiliency and auditability.
• Ability to tackle design problems independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to choose the best future-state solutions.
• Strong judgment and communication skills to influence technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Represents a product family in governance and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices.
• Regularly provides technical guidance to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and data sensitivity handling.
• Guides evaluation of current and new technologies using existing standards and frameworks to adopt leading-edge solutions.
• Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
• Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert and advocates SDLC frameworks and practices.
• Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance with traceability, resiliency, and security controls.
