Job summary

JPMorganChase in New Jersey seeks a Senior Lead Architect to shape the target state architecture for multiple software platforms in the Corporate Sector (Trade Surveillance). You’ll drive governance, provide technical leadership, and push AI-enabled patterns with strong validation and security controls.

You will mentor teams, influence decisions on design and operations, and advance secure production-quality code while aligning with enterprise SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced programming language skills and deep expertise in software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Represents a product family in governance bodies and proposes improvements to architecture governance.
• Provides technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Leverages enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate architecture analysis with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Evaluates current and new technologies and guides adoption of leading-edge solutions.
• Drives decisions affecting product design, function, and operations and processes.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code.
• Serves as a SME and advocates SDLC frameworks and practices.
• Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns with traceability and security controls.
• Demonstrates strong judgment and communication to influence technical direction.
