Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking experienced engineers to design and build state-of-the-art security platforms. You will work on real-time analytics and scalable services, leveraging AI-assisted tooling to protect customers’ digital environments.

You will collaborate with multi-functional teams, own features end-to-end, and contribute to architecture decisions while delivering high-performance solutions for IoT security and cloud-based services.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 8-12+ years software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• 7+ years of experience building large-scale distributed serving systems.
• 7–10 years of software development experience with NodeJS/Java/Python.
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Integrate generative AI to automate routine coding tasks and improve productivity.
• Design intelligent interfaces that provide proactive security insights and threat visualizations.
• Build scalable services for Device Security products and enable integrations with third-party systems (e.g., ServiceNow, SIEMs).
• Develop APIs for Device Security web services using NodeJS and database tech.
• Create data pipelines for device identification, alert publishing, and status tracking.
