Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Customer Deployed Engineer SA for Software and Technology customers within the AWS Solutions Architecture team.

You will define and prove technical direction, build prototypes and PoCs, and validate architectural patterns in customer environments using AI-assisted development tools. You will own architectural decisions, drive GenAI-enabled solutions, and partner with ProServe and customers to accelerate cloud adoption while managing regulatory and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud, systems engineering, security).
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for apps/infrastructure.
• Hands-on ability to build/validate solutions, not just advise.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including execs.

Responsibilities

• Build working prototypes in customer sandboxes using AI-augmented tools to validate architecture.
• Develop PoCs to prove architectural approaches beyond conversations.
• Deploy infrastructure using IaC (CDK, Terraform) in customer sandboxes.
• Apply GenAI and agentic systems to solve customer problems.
• Own architectural decisions and ensure coherence across teams.
• Engage with customers through implementation to validate architecture in environment.
