Job summary

In Tandem is seeking a senior software engineer to lead AI-native development across our platforms. You’ll write specifications, orchestrate agents, and review outputs with a focus on measurable outcomes.

You’ll work primarily with Java/Spring, with flexibility toward Kotlin, C#, or Go, and you’ll collaborate with product, design, QA, and automation teams to deliver scalable, reliable features. This is a rotational, high-exposure role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software engineering with statically typed backend experience
• Java/Spring preferred; Kotlin/C# or Go acceptable with strong backend
• Experience building AI-native software and agent workflows

Responsibilities

• Design and review AI-native agent workflows across platforms
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and automation teams to ship features
• Review and validate agent outputs and ensure system reliability and correctness
