Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to shape digital platforms across mobile, web, and tablet interfaces. You will create software components that interact with upstream/downstream systems to meet business requirements through effective coding.

Key tasks include gathering client requirements, crafting intuitive UIs, and writing clean, testable code within an agile framework. Hybrid work and extensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 2-4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure AD.
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience with Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend best practices around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements and ensure final product meets their needs.
• Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients and engage stakeholders.
