Amazon is seeking a Sr Software Development Engineer for the Agentic AI DevOps team in Seattle, WA. You will help shape the AWS DevOps Agent, tackling AI-driven incident investigation and remediation at scale.

You’ll own architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver features that improve customers’ operations across AWS and other clouds, while balancing speed with security and reliability.

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

Shape the technical direction and architecture of the DevOps Agent service.
Work directly with customers to uncover real-world development challenges and translate them into product capabilities.
Define all aspects of the service from architectural decisions to hands-on development.
Balance innovation with operational excellence, ensuring scale and security.
