Job summary

Strategic Business Systems seeks an AWS DevOps / Agentic SRE Engineer to own deployment, reliability, observability, and operation of secure AWS environments for an advanced AI platform. This hands-on role combines DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, and release automation from local development to production in AWS Kubernetes.

The engineer will work with EKS, Flux, Helm, and CDK, ensuring proactive health, reliability, and integration with AI/ML teams.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance and Security+ or equivalent certification.
3+ years of SRE/DevOps/Platform Engineering experience.
Hands-on Kubernetes in production environments.
Experience authoring Helm charts and GitOps CD with Flux/Argo CD.
Hands-on AWS with EKS, RDS, S3, IAM/IRSA, ECR.
Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (TypeScript/AWS CDK).
Proficiency with Python for automation; strong CI/CD, containers, networking, security knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate highly available AWS infrastructure for an Agentic AI platform.
Own the software delivery lifecycle from local development through production in AWS.
Deploy and operate Kubernetes workloads in production AWS EKS environments.
Author, maintain, and troubleshoot Helm charts; build GitOps-based CD with Flux/Helm.
Develop and maintain IaC using AWS CDK and TypeScript; manage AWS services.
Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses using telemetry and logs.
