Job summary

NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to drive technical engagements with partners and customers across our open model portfolio. You will lead post-training and harness optimization, building production-ready AI on open models and guiding customers from discovery to deployment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with ecosystem engineering teams, developing reusable recipes and playbooks, and scaling successful deployments across domains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in ML or software engineering with hands-on LLM post-training and production experience.
• Strong fundamentals in deep learning and ML; experience with LoRA/PEFT, SFT, RL.
• Experience with multi-GPU/multi-node training and inference optimization.
• Proficiency in PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Python, Linux.
• Ability to scope engagements and lead delivery with partners and customers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements by scoping work and driving delivery with partner teams and customers.
• Build reusable recipes, reference pipelines, and playbooks for partners.
• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering to apply field insights.
• Design evaluations, build synthetic data pipelines, and post-training with LoRA/PEFT.
• Optimize inference cost and production readiness of models.
