Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior AI Compute Engineer in the United States to serve as a forward-deployed technical liaison between NVIDIA’s Partner Network, internal teams, and enterprise customers. You will deploy and validate AI Compute/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments for new and existing customers, traveling as needed to sites.

Requirements include 8+ years of deployment experience, Linux administration, scripting (Bash/Python/Ansible), and familiarity with schedulers and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of in-depth support and deployment for hardware and software products.
• Linux system administration, package management, scheduling, kernel management, boot procedures, performance logging.
• Experience with cluster management and bare-metal provisioning; BCM is a bonus.
• Four-year degree in CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• Scripting with Bash, Python, Ansible; experience with SLURM, LSF, UGE.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to resolve customer issues; travel up to 30% in the US.
• Experience with benchmarking tools like HPL, NCCL tests, MLPerf and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and validate AI Compute/HPC infrastructure in Linux environments for customers.
• Be the domain expert with partners during planning calls through implementation.
• Provide handover documentation and knowledge transfers for rollout.
• Provide feedback to internal and partner teams, including bugs and workarounds.
