Job summary

Axion Ray Inc. is building its first Forward Deployed Engineering team to translate customer problems into production software.

You will own end-to-end delivery, from discovery to reliable deployment, writing and reviewing code, and engaging with customers throughout the process. This highly visible role requires strong engineering fundamentals, plus the ability to manage data integrations, AI-enabled workflows, and production deployments while balancing speed and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to ship and maintain production software independently.
• Experience with backend/data models, APIs, testing and debugging.
• Experience with Python, SQL and TypeScript/React is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer problems and scope valuable use cases.
• Design and deploy data integrations, business logic, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Validate outputs against source data and business rules, and support deployments.
• Collaborate with account teams and Product/Engineering to scale delivery.
