Job summary

Prologis seeks a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to drive business-embedded AI deployments and deliver production-grade solutions. You will architect, build, and guide cross-functional teams while remaining hands-on in evaluation and delivery, with a focus on scalable patterns and measurable business impact.

The role requires deep domain fluency, collaboration with business leaders, and the ability to translate strategy into executable technical work.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of hands-on software engineering or AI delivery experience.
• Proven success leading multiple complex deployments from discovery to production.
• Experience partnering with business leaders to reimagine processes with AI.
• Strong hands-on programming and architecture across Python, APIs, data platforms, cloud.
• Deep practical experience with LLMs, agents, retrieval, and production observability.
• Ability to work with senior executives and translate strategy into executable work.

Responsibilities

• Build anchor-domain fluency and lead a portfolio of AI deployments across workflows and units.
• Define outcomes, sponsorship, architecture, milestones, and production ownership for each deployment.
• Identify high-value opportunities with business leaders and inform value case and operating constraints for deployments.
• Translate strategic objectives into redesigned workflows integrating AI agents, software, and human input.
• Architect, build, test, and troubleshoot production-grade AI applications and integrations.
• Mentor Senior FDEs and elevate technical discovery, engineering, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide executive reporting on value, progress, risks, and decisions.
