Ōura is seeking a Staff AI Data Transformation Architect to drive company-wide Data AI enablement, reporting to the VP of Data Engineering and Analytics. This senior individual contributor role combines strategic roadmap work with hands-on governance and data tooling across the organization.

You will define the Data AI roadmap across data, product, engineering, science and business units, build repeatable playbooks, and establish a common framework for evaluating AI opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience scaling AI data solutions, products or technology adoption beyond pilots into sustained, organization-wide practice.

Responsabilités

• Define and own the Data AI enablement roadmap across data, product, engineering, science and business functions, prioritizing opportunities with the highest leverage.
• Build the operating model for repeatable adoption: playbooks, shared tooling, evaluation frameworks, and success metrics to turn pilots into standard practice.
• Establish a shared language and evaluation framework for AI opportunities across the company.
• Drive build-vs-buy decisions for AI tooling and influence vendor strategy at a company-wide level.
• Own the AI tool estate end-to-end: integration of data and access models within the Databricks platform and partner with AI Productivity to power the AI ecosystem with a trusted data layer.
• Partner with governance, security, privacy and legal to define guardrails for responsible AI use in health-sensitive environments.
• Keep AI spend efficient: observability, productivity best practices and renewal and build/buy decisions.
• Architect Ōura's Data AI strategy leveraging Databricks and AWS for terabyte-petabyte scale data with global consistency.
• Lead the design of machine-readable contracts, vector-based architectures and RAG patterns for enterprise reporting and production-grade AI.
