Job summary

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior AI Data Scientist for a fast-growing technology company developing AI-powered products that turn complex information into practical business insights. This is a direct hire, remote position in New York, NY, with up to 25% annual travel.

The role involves building and productionizing ML/AI capabilities, owning products end-to-end, and collaborating across data science, engineering, product, and business operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data science, applied ML, or quantitative research (or PhD).
• Strong Python and SQL, building scalable data/ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and productionize AI/ML systems and models.
• Own ML/AI products from inception to production.
• Build scalable data/ML pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Develop predictive and custom ML models.
• Design and interpret A/B tests and ML benchmarks.
