Job summary

Confidential, a progressive investment management firm, is expanding its engineering team in New York. We seek a Senior Data Engineer who will operate with data-architecture scope, leading end-to-end data projects in equity investment research.

You will design, build, and scale data-driven solutions for Data Science Analysts, collaborating with researchers and business partners in a fast-paced production environment. Onsite four days a week in NYC; Friday remote.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and Python.
• 2+ years as a Data Engineer within a top Investment Management Firm.
• Experience in Equity Investment Research space and real-time trading platforms.
• Expertise with LARGE Data Set Parallel Processing and multiple API query handling.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of data projects.
• Design, build, and scale data-driven solutions for Data Science Analysts.
• Collaborate with data scientists, researchers, and business partners.
• Support production systems in a fast-paced environment.
