Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an AI Data Scientist Senior Associate within Payments Data and Analytics to design and implement end-to-end AI solutions with tangible commercial impact.

You will build data pipelines and dashboards, prototype generative AI capabilities, and ensure quality and reliability of intelligent solutions through testing and monitoring. You will collaborate with data owners and engineers to support AI-driven insights, including chat assistants and workflow automations

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
• 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Expertise in quantitative research techniques using Python.
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving; translate strategy into deliverables.
• Knowledge of ML/data science theory and tools.
• Experience with LLMs and agent AI techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and partner with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize solutions that automate and optimize business processes.
• Design and refine prompts to align with business goals and user needs.
• Iterate designs to improve functionality and test reliability.
• Use Snowflake, Python, and Tableau to create data pipelines and dashboards.
• Monitor AI model performance and implement improvements.
• Partner with data owners, managers, and engineers to develop data models.
• Support client analytics requests on an ad hoc basis.
