Job summary

The Federal Reserve System is seeking a Sr AI Data Scientist to lead analytics projects, build predictive models, and advance enterprise AI capabilities within the AI Program Office. The role focuses on applying machine learning, NLP, and statistical methods to solve complex monetary policy and financial system challenges.

You will work with data scientists, economists, and technologists to design experiments, deploy scalable data pipelines, and translate research into policy-ready insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Six years of experience in data science or related fields.
• Experience with analytical and statistical software such as R, MATLAB, or SAS; programming with Python/Java/SQL preferred.
• Experience with large datasets and data quality control.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytic projects and predictive modeling using data mining techniques.
• Design and optimize algorithms for matching and pattern recognition.
• Lead large-scale analytical research across all stages from concept to final report.
• Transform and integrate large-scale datasets for analysis and decision support.
• Communicate findings through internal reports and executive summaries.
