LiveHire Limited is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer to lead AI data management, governance, and model evaluation for AI/ML in a medical device setting. You will oversee datasets, ground truth creation, and performance dashboards, working with clinical partners, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory teams.

The role emphasizes data quality, regulatory readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvement of AI evaluation methods and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience supporting AI/ML development, data engineering, model validation, analytics, or algorithm development.
• Demonstrated experience designing and executing model evaluation and performance frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Azure Data Platform, Databricks, or cloud-based analytics environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead data operations programs with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, data owners, compliance, and legal.

Responsibilities

• Lead data operations and model evaluation activities for AI/ML development in a medical device environment.
• Manage collection, organization, quality, governance, and distribution of clinical and field-derived datasets.
• Establish and maintain ground truth datasets and governance for training, validation, and verification.
• Design and execute model evaluation workflows against baselines and communicate results.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish application-specific evaluation measures.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate model performance trends to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to improve data pipelines and labeling quality.
• Support data quality KPIs and remediation of data gaps.
