Job summary

KSL Capital Partners, LLC, a leading global private equity firm, seeks an AI Data Engineer in Denver to build and scale data infrastructure for AI and GenAI products. You will develop end-to-end pipelines in Snowflake, handling structured and unstructured data for FP&A, Deal Teams, and portfolio companies.

Reporting to the Data Architect, you will focus on reliability-first data modeling, embeddings, and vector stores, enabling AI-driven queries and governance within a fast-paced PE environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; 5+ years in data engineering or related setting.
• Experience building data pipelines for AI/ML or GenAI applications.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and Snowflake proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build and monitor robust ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting data from portfolio and systems into Snowflake.
• Create clean, well-modeled datasets powering analytics, dashboards, and AI queries.
• Design ingestion for unstructured data (documents) for RAG and AI analysis.
• Develop embedding/vector infra using Snowflake Cortex and vector types.
• Collaborate with Data Architect to extend Snowflake models for AI consumption and governance.
• Assist with onboarding of new investments and validate data quality from day one.
• Implement data quality checks and anomaly detection to maintain Golden Record.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related technical field

5+ years in data engineering or data architecture
