Job summary

Artefact is seeking a Senior AI & Data Consultant: an analytical, client-facing builder who works hands-on with AI. You will perform advanced analytics, interface with clients, and keep projects on track — using AI natively to deliver measurable results.

You will develop expertise in at least one platform (Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or OpenAI), prototype with Claude Code or Gemini CLI, mentor junior staff, and contribute to proposals and insights.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-time work experience, ideally in consulting, data/analytics, marketing, advertising, finance, or tech.
• Strong analytical skills with experience presenting data-driven recommendations to clients.
• Hands-on AI literacy: regular use of AI tools and the ability to prototype with AI assistance.
• Comfort with the terminal and tools like Claude Code or Gemini CLI.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python; advanced Excel and PowerPoint/Google Workspace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, client-facing and intercultural.
• Willingness to mentor junior team members.
• Undergraduate degree in business, technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define client needs through interviews with client teams and technology partners.
• Perform advanced data analysis and research on high-impact client problems.
• Help build, formulate, and present strategic data and AI recommendations.
• Keep internal projects aligned and interface with clients with confidence and care.
• Use AI tools daily across your work: analysis, writing, quality checking.
• Prototype ideas with agentic coding tools to create demos or small tools.
• Explain GenAI concepts to clients and stress-test vendor claims.
• Develop specialization in at least one AI platform: Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI.
• Present insights to clients in clear language for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to new business proposals and Artefact-published content.
• Oversee and mentor entry-level consultants and interns.
