Job summary

Optiv is seeking a Principal AI Advisor, Center of Excellence, to combine security expertise with AI, delivering pragmatic, scalable AI security programs for clients. You will shape security solutions using Optiv’s ecosystem and partner technologies, guiding sales opportunities and ensuring high‑impact AI security outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience.
• Ten years in information security, preferably as a consulting advisor or leader.
• Self-motivated with minimal day-to-day management required.
• Able to work in a highly adaptable, nimble team with strong communication.
• Thorough understanding of AI-related threats and security controls.
• Strong business and technical acumen for AI-focused discussions.
• Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel within US/Canada and internationally as needed.
• CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM, CCSP certifications relevant to AI are desirable.
• Experience leading an information security function or program.
• Active ISACA/ISSA membership is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI services and technologies pipeline to meet quarterly and annual quotas.
• Follow Optiv SOPs to ensure consistent success.
• Maintain expert knowledge of client security environments and needs.
• Identify AI security concerns and map to Optiv solutions.
• Qualify and lead cross-functional teams to close scope and proposals.
• Engage in AI-related opportunities across Optiv's portfolio.
• Articulate how Optiv AI offerings meet client needs at executive levels.
• Stay current on AI industry trends to inform clients and teams.
• Collaborate with service delivery for cohesive AI materials.
• Develop roadmaps aligning AI strategy with client goals.
