Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Context Engineering Manager to lead the knowledge and instruction infrastructure for AI-enabled delivery across the DT&I product portfolio. You will own context libraries, agent-instruction standards, and grounding quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure assurance, security, and auditability.

The role emphasizes governance, developer enablement, and scalable AI context strategies to support reliable, repeatable outcomes for our DT&I initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Seven or more years in software, data, or AI engineering, or related tech fields.
• Three or more years building LLM context, retrieval-augmented generation, or knowledge-management systems.
• Two or more years defining reusable engineering assets, developer enablement tooling, or technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs and maintains the firm's context infrastructure including hierarchical skill libraries and agent-instruction standards.
• Owns retrieval-corpus curation and grounding quality including source selection, embeddings, and index design.
• Governs the skill and context catalog with ownership, review cadence, and change control.
• Ensures context infrastructure complies with security policies and regulatory standards.
• Acts as supervisor and mentor to engineering teams.
