Job summary

WEX Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager focused on Context Engineering to own the enterprise context layer for our AI agents. You will bridge unstructured knowledge with governed semantic data and agent workflows across engineering, data, and business teams.

You will shape the semantic layer, define measures, and establish standards for retrieval, grounding, and context packs while ensuring security, auditability, and ROI tracking across global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Business or related field.
• Senior-level PM with experience owning data platforms, enterprise search, semantic layers, API products.
• Deep understanding of applied generative AI and agentic systems.
• Data modeling with relational models and SQL.
• Hands-on with SQL, JSON, YAML, and API calls.
• Experience designing evaluation harnesses and golden benchmark datasets.
• Security, governance, data privacy basics.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Portfolio: prioritize high-value context initiatives and sequence workflows based on impact, demand, and risk.
• Governed Semantic Layer & NL-to-SQL: define semantic object roadmap, measures, join graphs, and RLS.
• Retrieval & Grounding: establish federated ingestion, chunking, caching, metadata, and citations.
• Workflow Context Packs: design production-ready context packs for operational workflows and SOPs.
• Quality & Benchmarks: build evaluation harnesses, golden datasets, and quality gates.
• Governance & Value Realization: embed auditability, data lineage, access control, and ROI tracking.
