Job summary

TechInsights is seeking a Senior Analyst, Compute AI Modeling to own the development and refinement of the proprietary Compute AI model. You will work across the Market Intelligence organization to ensure the model informs the semiconductor coverage and provide deep analytical insights.

The role requires mentoring junior analysts, applying advanced modeling techniques, and presenting findings to clients and executives, with remote work options within the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor market research or related field.
• Deep technical and analytical expertise in semiconductor markets and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of the semiconductor supply chain across fabless, foundry, OEM, and hyperscaler segments.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems with creativity, rigor, and independent judgment.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts and acting as a technical go-to resource.
• Strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build, refine, and own the Compute AI model integrating teardown, reverse‑engineering, costing, and market data.
• Maintain end‑to‑end market model for SoC processors and AI accelerators with forecasts and supply chain views.
• Apply AI-enabled tooling to accelerate modeling of AI silicon, packaging, and system‑level trends.
• Document and evolve modeling methodology to scale across the Compute/AI practice.
• Publish senior‑level technical analysis on the model’s insights and supply‑chain implications.
• Mentor analysts and act as a technical resource across teams.
• Contribute to the team’s Innovation & R&D agenda and represent modeling in internal forums.
• Present model findings to clients and executives in clear narratives for non‑technical audiences.
• Support select high‑value client engagements as a subject matter expert.
