Job summary

Agilent Technologies in the United States is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support market intelligence and segment marketing initiatives. You will develop predictive market models, curate internal and external data, and prepare information for senior leaders.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau to generate executive-ready analyses and presentations. Remote option is available with some travel.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant industry experience in a similar role.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field; MBA is desirable.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, including macro programming, pivot tables, and functions like INDEX, MATCH, INDIRECT.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI; highly desirable.
Experience using software and visualization tools to develop executive-level presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Location within driving distance of the Santa Clara office is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage the ALDA market share survey process and internal reports.
Prepare reports on competitor activity and insights from public sources.
Analyze market data to identify trends and identify opportunities for strategic direction.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess market opportunities for Go-to-Market strategy.
Create executive-level presentations summarizing market and competitive information.
Leverage AI tools and third-party consultants to identify and summarize market intelligence.
