Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior AI Compute Engineer - NVIS to join a leader in Telecommunications & Hardware. The role focuses on deploying and validating large-scale AI compute and HPC infrastructure in Linux environments, with customer-facing planning and delivery.

You will collaborate with internal teams and partners to support successful delivery, requiring strong hands-on systems expertise and exceptional communication. Remote US-based, visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in support and deployment services for hardware and software products.
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and advanced networking.
• Experience with cluster management and provisioning technologies for bare-metal servers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, Ansible, and similar tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills for customer issue resolution.
• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and validate AI compute and HPC infrastructure in Linux environments.
• Act as the domain expert during customer planning and implementation calls.
• Prepare handover documentation and conduct knowledge transfers for customer support.
• Provide feedback to internal teams, including bug reporting and improvement suggestions.
• Interact with customers and partners to analyze and define large-scale AI compute projects.
