Job summary

Modular, a Qualcomm company, is building a next‑generation AI infrastructure platform. We’re seeking a Community Manager to lead programs, host Bay Area meetups, and drive engagement across X and LinkedIn while coordinating events and hackathons for researchers and developers.

You will design scalable systems, recruit speakers, and publish accessible documentation, aimed at fostering a thriving, self‑sustaining community around modular AI software stacks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or technical field.
• 2+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
• Advanced degrees may substitute for up to two years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate community programs end-to-end, including Champions program.
• Plan and run in-person Bay Area meetups with full logistics ownership.
• Moderate virtual community calls and manage social channels (X/LinkedIn).
• Recruit speakers, curate projects and demos, and plan hackathons/conferences.
• Produce clear documentation, playbooks, and community guidelines.
