Job summary

RCG, Inc. in Suitland, MD seeks a Senior AI/Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to drive AI security platforms, automate assessments, and harden cloud security in a federal setting. The role combines generative AI, AWS security, and compliance to deliver secure, auditable engineering deliverables.

The candidate will own technical workstreams, develop Python-based AI automation, integrate AWS services, and maintain documentation for audits, while collaborating across SAE team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 6+ years of cloud security engineering experience.
• 2+ years of production experience with generative AI/LLM.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS security services.
• Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP and FISMA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Bedrock agent action groups with Python Lambda layers.
• Develop RAG pipelines using Bedrock Knowledge Bases and reference sources.
• Engineer prompts, guardrails, input validation for AI security.
• Evolve foundation-model strategies as requirements mature.
• Build AI-assisted capabilities for security assessment and remediation.
• Create automated NIST 800-53 control assessments and evidence collection.
