Job summary

RCG, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI/Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to support a federal SAE team in Suitland, MD.

This hands-on senior role combines generative AI, cloud security, and federal compliance expertise to drive an agentic AI security platform and automation workflows. You will own technical workstreams from requirements through CI/CD, deployment, and evidence generation, with strong Python development and AWS security integration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of cloud security engineering experience.
• 2+ years production experience with generative AI/LLM technologies.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS security services.
• 3+ years of experience supporting federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA).
• 2+ years of active Jira and Confluence experience in Agile/technical delivery.
• Expert Python development experience (Python 3.11+, boto3).
• Advanced knowledge of Amazon Bedrock including agents and RAG.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Bedrock agent action groups and Python Lambda layers.
• Develop RAG pipelines using Bedrock Knowledge Bases and NIST/ CIS sources.
• Ensure secure prompts, guardrails, and input validation for AI systems.
• Build automated NIST control assessments and security evidence collection.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC with least-privilege IAM.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
