Job summary

Florida Blue seeks a Principal Cybersecurity Architect to drive enterprise security strategy and provide technical leadership across AI and Cloud initiatives. The role focuses on secure-by-design, zero trust, and governance, bridging data scientists, engineers, and executives while guiding secure cloud migrations and on-prem to cloud transitions.

This position requires CISSP and 6+ years of architecture experience, with deep regulatory knowledge and a proven ability to lead complex security

Qualifications

• 6+ years architect experience on complex IT and Cybersecurity projects.
• Related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• CISSP certification required.
• Strong architectural design skills.
• Leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Expertise across hardware platforms and security tech development practices.
• Ability to align IT strategy with projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of AI architectures and secure cloud adoption enterprise-wide.
• Bridge data scientists, engineers, AI/ML architects, and executives to secure AI/Cloud initiatives.
• Promote secure-by-design principles across AI/Cloud programs.
• Lead security teams and governance for AI and Public Cloud adoption.
• Design secure API/data access, MCP solutions, and secure data pipelines.
