Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive end-to-end design and delivery of trusted, scalable AI-enabled financial tech.

You will be hands-on, lead architecture, design REST APIs, and deliver production AI applications using ADK/LangGraph, while guiding a cross-functional team in an agile environment. The role emphasizes secure coding, operational readiness, and close collaboration with Product, Security and SRE teams.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python and backend services experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on production AI apps using ADK and LangGraph (mandatory).
• 6+ years of applied software engineering experience or equivalent.
• Strong API design with REST/microservices and FastAPI.
• Production system design, development, testing, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and implementation of software solutions and architectures.
• Own hands-on delivery of production AI/agentic applications using ADK/LangGraph.
• Define API design standards and collaborate with consumers for usability.
• Write secure, production-ready code and mentor the team through reviews.
• Improve SDLC tooling, CI/CD, test automation, and security practices.
