Job summary

EarnIn is hiring an AI-focused software engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered agents and tooling. You will shape prompts, tooling, and governance, ensuring production-grade AI that users rely on. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and applied AI in a hybrid Mountain View setting.

You’ll sculpt end-to-end pipelines, evaluation gates, and reusable patterns so teams can ship faster and safer AI features. A background in software plus AI system design is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM integration patterns
• Proficiency across the stack
• Experience with MCP, LangChain, or comparable orchestration frameworks
• Experience with open source LLM models
• Strong opinions about developer experience and usability of tools

Responsibilities

• Design how agents think: prompts, reasoning chains, tool calls, and the underlying architecture
• Rethink the PDLC: scoping, design, review, testing, deployment, monitoring with agentic workflows
• Own evaluation infrastructure: pipelines, benchmarks, quality gates for AI features
• Turn pilots into production: create reusable libraries and templates for AI integration
