Job summary

Centene Management Company LLC is seeking an Automation and AI/ML focused engineer to expand our Defense Automation & Transformation capabilities. You will design and implement automation, AI-enabled monitoring, and secure SSDLC practices within a Kubernetes-centric environment, supporting shared observability and automation services.

You will deploy and troubleshoot containerized workloads, contribute to CI/CD and tooling standards, and help mature security-focused development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field; 4–6 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains automation, integrations, and self-service tools across SDT
• Builds AI-enabled capabilities for the AI Ops initiative
• Deploys, operates, and troubleshoots Kubernetes workloads
• Applies secure development practices across SSDLC, including threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
• Promotes CI/CD, source control, testing, and automation standards
• Documents solutions, creates runbooks, shares knowledge with engineers
• Performs other duties as assigned
