Job summary
BS&A Software is seeking a Senior AI Automation & Integration Engineer to lead the technical execution of the AI Center of Excellence's automation, integration, and enablement capability within a hybrid remote setting in Bath. This full-time role focuses on how approved models connect to BS&A's systems, defining reusable patterns, ensuring reliability, and managing production costs.
The role is hands-on, not a model-research position, and guides other teams by setting technical standards,
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software, platform, or integration engineering experience.
- Experience with production systems and LLM APIs from Anthropic/OpenAI or comparable providers.
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems (SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Salesforce).
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation architecture for BS&A's AI capabilities, including model APIs and gateways, and related integrations.
- Translate AI engineering standards into practical patterns, guardrails, and reference implementations.
- Own technical decisions on build, buy, and configuration, including cost, quality, latency, and security considerations.
- Lead incident response for CoE-managed components and drive root-cause fixes.
