The position follows a hybrid schedule in Grand Rapids, MI, with remote days Thursday-Friday, and requires strong leadership, deep Azure expertise, and experience with LLMOps and RAG-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in IT with progressive responsibilities.
• Advanced knowledge of software development practices.
• Experience in retail or production/service environments preferred.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management.
• Experience architecting AI/GenAI on Azure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and review AI domain implementations.
• Develop patterns to standardize domain-specific codebases.
• Mentor domain engineering teams on best practices.
• Provide engineering strategy for code modernization.
• Build production-ready proof-of-concepts.
• Guide development teams on domain requirements.
• Lead NFRs: security, reliability, performance, scalability, usability.
• Advise on new tech adoption to improve processes and value.
• Define reference architectures for AI/Automation on Azure stack.
