Job summary

Meijer is hiring for an applications developer role focused on AI-powered features on the Microsoft Azure stack. The team follows SAFe Agile practices and collaborates closely with product owners, developers, and QA to ensure value delivery.

The role emphasizes prompt design, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and integration with enterprise data sources, with a hybrid work schedule in Grand Rapids, MI. Strong programming and AI tooling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
SAFe certifications (SSM/SASM/SA/SPC/SPMPO) or equivalent preferred.
ITIL Foundation certification or knowledge is a plus.
Experience in systems development and programming.
Familiarity with large language models and Azure AI features.

Responsibilities

Code, test, and maintain applications within SAFe Agile practices.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA to meet acceptance criteria.
Develop AI-powered features on the Microsoft Azure stack, incl. prompt design and RAG components.
Perform unit tests, deployment assistance, and optimization to meet SLA.
Provide technical consultation and update documentation for business processes.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and support ITIL-aligned production maintenance.
