Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Lead AI Developer to lead the Finance Technology AI Enablement team for a major healthcare organization. This hands-on leadership role gathers business and SME input to design AI-driven solutions that transform finance processes, spanning architecture, data flow, and roadmap delivery.

You will architect and implement Generative AI, ML, automation, and complex workflows, building semantic layers with RAG and Knowledge Graphs, and presenting concepts to leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/AI/ML development experience across cloud and distributed architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with event-driven frameworks and high-volume data processing.
• Extensive experience designing GenAI and ML solutions.
• Experience building agentic workflows and automation solutions.
• Experience with financial data processing and analytics enabled by AI/ML.
• Experience building semantic layers using RAG, Knowledge Graphs and GraphRAG.
• Experience enabling NLP-based querying against large relational databases.
• Experience with analytics AI use cases like forecasting and fraud detection.
• Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and SMEs to understand processes and objectives.
• Design AI-enabled solutions that automate business processes end-to-end.
• Create architecture and designs; lead build-out of solutions.
• Design and implement Generative AI, ML, automation, and complex workflows.
• Build semantic layers using RAG, Knowledge Graphs, and GraphRAG.
• Enable NLP querying against large databases with complex relations.
• Architect financial data processing and analytics enabled by AI/ML.
• Develop analytics AI capabilities including forecasting, fraud detection, and prediction.
• Drive an AI-first architecture across data processing and automation.
• Design for high-volume processing using event-driven frameworks.
• Present designs and roadmaps to executives and IT audiences.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the AI Enablement team.
