Job summary

Clarify AI is seeking an experienced AI Architect to design and build scalable AI/ML infrastructure for healthtech billing solutions. You’ll lead end-to-end data pipelines, model lifecycle management, and deployment, with emphasis on explainability, fairness, and regulatory compliance in a healthcare setting.

The role requires collaboration across data science, software, and product teams to deliver impactful AI-powered solutions and stay ahead of evolving healthcare AI technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying AI/ML systems at scale.
• Strong foundation in machine learning, NLP, and modern AI system architecture.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare data (claims, medical coding, EHRs, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps tools.
• Familiarity with healthcare billing standards (CPT, ICD-10, UB-04).
• Experience with large language models and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Background in explainable and ethical AI development.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable AI/ML systems for real-time and batch processing of healthcare billing data.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines for structured and unstructured sources.
• Own the ML model lifecycle—from training to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered solutions.
• Drive model explainability, fairness, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Evaluate third-party AI tools and APIs when beneficial to impact.
• Stay ahead of healthcare AI technologies and advise on strategic implementation.
