Career Launch is seeking Senior Principal AI Engineer opportunities in New York. You will lead applied AI architecture and production delivery across key use cases, setting the technical direction for data, ML, and AI initiatives to drive measurable business outcomes.

You will partner with engineering, product, security, and leadership to implement, monitor, and scale data-driven solutions, while mentoring teams and establishing repeatable operating practices.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in machine learning, data science, data engineering, analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong statistical, technical, and experimental judgment.
• Experience taking data or model work from discovery into monitored production use.
• Ability to connect technical work to revenue, customer, risk, or operating outcomes.
• Clear communication with executives, engineers, analysts, and nontechnical partners.
• Authorization to work in the United States for the employer without misrepresenting work status.

Responsibilities

• Lead applied AI architecture and production delivery across important use cases.
• Set the technical direction for data, ML, or AI initiatives.
• Turn business priorities into measurable models, data products, experiments, and production systems.
• Establish standards for data quality, evaluation, monitoring, privacy, and responsible model use.
• Partner with engineering, product, security, and business leaders on implementation and adoption.
• Communicate tradeoffs, limitations, and results clearly to technical and executive audiences.
• Develop team capability through hiring, mentoring, documentation, and repeatable operating practices.
