Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is hiring a Sr Staff AI Engineer to define the technical direction for AI-first enterprise systems and to lead architecture across a broad portfolio of applications. You will work hands-on while mentoring engineers and shaping scalable, production-ready solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in AI integration with LLMs, RAG, tool calling, and agentic workflows, plus a track record of setting standards and influencing senior engineers across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering with leadership across complex, production-scale systems.
• Deep expertise in full-stack and distributed systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Set architectural vision and technical direction for AI-first enterprise applications across multiple domains.
• Lead architecture and delivery of complex cross-team systems spanning full-stack apps and cloud-native services.
• Establish reusable engineering standards, reference architectures, and shared capabilities for AI-first systems, including agentic workflows.
• Partner with senior leaders to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical strategies.
• Drive AI-native engineering practices and modern workflows using tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering standards across the organization.
