Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Engineer in San Diego to design, build, test, and deploy enterprise-grade AI apps from concept to production-ready software.

You will work with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents, using LangChain and related frameworks while implementing scalable APIs and cloud-native solutions. Harness CI/CD and secure, observable production environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks and LLMs in production.
• Strong understanding of RAG, agentic AI and prompt engineering.
• Experience with major model platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and vector databases.
• Strong API and microservices design with Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.
• Hands-on Harness CI/CD and pipeline-as-code experience.
• Experience with Harness Skills and AI-assisted software delivery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build end-to-end AI-powered applications (UI, backend, APIs).
• Develop solutions using LLMs, embeddings and vector search.
• Create agentic workflows integrating enterprise apps and data sources.
• Develop scalable APIs and cloud-native services.
• Implement automated unit/integration/AI application tests.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate engineering.
• Maintain CI pipelines and production services with Harness.
• Collaborate with platform teams to ensure security and observability.
