Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive technology experience
• 8+ years in architecture roles and cross-domain decisions
• Production AI/ML systems experience including generative AI and lifecycle management
• Deep cloud architecture experience on Google Cloud or comparable hyperscaler
• Strong security architecture expertise including Zero Trust
• Ability to communicate complex technical and investment trade-offs to executives and engineers

Responsibilities

• Define Ford Credit's multi-year AI architecture strategy and roadmaps
• Establish an AI-native software delivery lifecycle with specs, execution, and evidence
• Create reusable architecture patterns, plans, contracts, and evidence bundles
• Architect production agentic systems with models, retrieval, tools, memory, orchestration and recovery
• Define risk-based autonomy, checkpoints, and auditable decision trails
• Establish evaluation practices for automated/regression testing and monitoring
• Set patterns for authoritative enterprise knowledge including provenance and memory
• Design and govern AI apps/platforms on Google Cloud (Vertex AI, Gemini, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub)
• Embed Zero‑Trust, IAM, data protection, and software supply-chain security
• Address AI risks like prompt injection, data leakage, and unsafe generated code
• Guide modernization of hybrid/legacy systems with modular architectures and APIs
• Turn decisions into reference architectures, runbooks, templates, and platform capabilities
• Advise senior leaders and align across engineering, product, cybersecurity, data, legal, privacy, risk and ops
• Manage and develop architects with clear priorities and coaching
• Use enterprise-approved AI tools responsibly for research, prototyping, and drafting
